As if that isn't enough to keep them buys, the power hungry Princess Angelica has begun preparations for a horrifying prophesied spell that will forever change both the magic and non-magic realms.

When Calla is blindsided by an unspeakable tragedy before the rescue can be carried out, she struggles to remain focused on her mission. She believes she's reached her lowest point - until a witch reveals the final blow: she has cursed Calla's magic.

With time running out, can Calla save the one she loves and stop the prophecy from being carried out before the curse claims her life?

Book Review:
Pre-reading Thoughts:

Okay. The second book ended with bang and I have a feeling that this book will definitely be better. I adore Calla and I am kind of nervous to finish her story. I don't want it to end...

Thank you so much to the wonderful author for sending me a copy of this book! Just a small disclaimer for those reading this review. I have received this book in exchange for an honest review. Please note that this does not affect my opinion in any way. All thoughts are my own.

Writing Thoughts:

If you would like to see my thoughts on the author's writing, you can find them here and here.

Plot Thoughts:

This book was a lot different than the rest. In fact Calla's story is a lot different from Violet's. This book was both swoon worthy and heartbreaking. There were moments where I couldn't fathom what had happened and then the were the moments that I couldn't wait for. If you like books that have twists and turns that you don't see coming but also enjoy having a conclusion that ties all of the loose ends then the Creepy Hollow series is for you. This book was filled with action and moments that make you reflect on yourself.

Character Thoughts:

I love Calla because she is flawed. She isn't perfect and she is one of the most human characters that I have ever read about. She is honestly one of those rare characters that are raw and honest. I love the characters in this series. They have definitely stolen my heart and each romance is more pure than the last one.

Final Thoughts:

Overall, this book was just incredible. I don't know how the author creates these little bundles of perfection. Her books suck me in and linger on my soul. Her writing is consistently beautiful. The plot in this book was incredible. My heart was wretched out and was slowly healed much like each and every single character in this series. The characters are like my family and they are real. Calla is flawed and raw. She is probably my favourite character ever. Thank you so much to the author for sharing Calla's story with me.

Yours in Reading,

Melleny
