Book Review:
Pre-reading Thoughts:

The last book ended on quite a big ending so I am excited to see how the entire series concludes!

Thank you so much to Xpresso Book Tours for providing me with a copy of this book! Just a small disclaimer for those reading this review. I have received this book in exchange for an honest review. please note that this does not affect my opinion in any way. All thoughts are my own.

Writing Thoughts:

The writing in this book stayed the same, therefore if you would like to see my writing thoughts, you can find it here and here.

Plot Thoughts:

I liked the ending. It was very happy ever after. I loved how certain events unfolded and then there were other events that I thought just took away from the overall feel of the book. The action scenes were, as always, really well done. But I thought the sex scenes were just s little too much sometimes. Instead of adding to a moment, I felt like the sex cheapened it.

Character Thoughts:

Both Bruno and Serena are strong but flawed characters. I loved how they rose above everything but still had their moments where they took off their masks and revealed how deep everything affected them.

Final Thoughts:

Overall, I really liked this conclusion. I loved how we had a happy ever after. I loved how everything turned out all right and all the loose ends were tied. I like how the writing stayed consistent and how entertaining the plot was. I did start to lose interest towards the end because it felt like everything was about sex in this book. There were definitely some moments in this book that were my favourite. Please note that I do not recommend this series for younger readers as it does contain explicit sex scenes that are not appropriate. Thank you so much to Xpresso Book Tours for providing me with a copy of this book!

Yours in Reading,

Melleny
